catching largemouth bass next to the ocean (in South Africa 🇿🇦)

I headed out with a friend for a day of fishing around Bazley Beach on the KZN South Coast, and it turned into a session I definitely wasn’t expecting. We started off fishing the ocean, but after things slowed down, we decided to walk over to a nearby river. I’d heard that largemouth bass had been caught there before, even though it’s right next to the ocean, so I had to see if it was true. Safe to say, I wasn’t disappointed. After exploring the river and putting the ultralight setup to work, we managed to find some beautiful largemouth bass and had an awesome time on the water.
