SHAD ACTION ON THE BLUFF !!! Targeting them with Soft Plastic lures and Spoons/Metals

There's nothing quite like an early morning mission on the South African coastline. With the sun just beginning to rise and two rods in hand, I set off along the beaches of the Bluff with one goal in mind – to target one of the coast's most exciting fish, the shad (elf), using artificial lures. The Bluff is known for its beautiful coastline and unpredictable conditions, and every cast could bring the strike you've been waiting for. From walking the shoreline at first light to working different lures through the surf, this session was all about enjoying the adventure and chasing that adrenaline rush that only lure fishing can deliver. Whether you're a passionate angler, love South African fishing, or simply enjoy the outdoors, come along for another Fishing Naturals adventure as I explore one of Durban's iconic fishing spots in search of aggressive shad.
