On this adventure, we traverse up the coast of Lake Superior for our first spring camping trip of the year. The ice is melting and the steelhead are making here way up the rivers for spawning. This also means the waterfalls are at full force, and the last of the winter ice is slowly melting from the lake. We were happy to take our first paddles of the season, and always love the spring thaw. This type of weather gets us really excited for all the adventures ahead! This channel Grateful Lakes combines our love for Lake Superior and the surrounding lakes in our home state Minnesota, with our love for the Grateful Dead.
