GPS track for the hike: https://out.ac/IaKyzn Hello!!! Today we're on our way to the Vorderer Scheinberg, which has an elevation of 1,827 m. The hike begins in the Graswanger Valley at the Sägertal parking lot, which is free to use in May 2025. First, it's 4.5 km along a forest road to the turnoff to Hochplatte. Follow this path to the Lösertaljoch. From here, you can already see the destination, the Vorderer Scheinberg. A short climb to the edge of the basin, and from there the last few hundred meters to the summit. From here, the path is partly over loose gravel, and a narrow ridge leads over to the mountain. There are very steep drops to the left and right, which are definitely not for everyone. Only hike in dry conditions. At the summit, a fantastic view awaits you down to Forggensee, Hochplatte, Geiselstein, Grubenkopf, etc. The return route leads through the basin down to the Bäckenalmsattel and then back to the Sägertal parking lot.
