Bosnia - Clashes Between Muslims And Serbs
(29 Apr 1996) T/I: 11:01:11 More than 400 Bosnian Muslims who wanted to visit the graves of their friends and relatives in the Bosnian Serb-held village of novo were prevented from entering it on Monday (29/4) by angry Serb residents. After clashes, Bosnian Serb authorities then turned the Moslems back. About 30 Serbs armed with hoes, sticks and stones attacked the buses as Bosnian Serb police and French IFOR soldiers tried to hold them back. Frustrated Muslims then attacked Bosnian Serb-owned vehicles passing near their buses.
