BOSNIA: BOSNIAN MUSLIMS TRY TO STOP SERBS VISITING CEMETERY

(8 May 1996) Serbo-Croat/Nat Angry Bosnian Muslims have tried to stop Serbs visiting the graves of relatives just outside Sarajevo. A 200 strong crowd blocked the road outside Hadzici - five kilometres (3 miles) from the Bosnian capital. Muslims - many of them women - lined the road and tried to stop the passing cars. They wanted to prevent Serbs who used to live in Hadzici from visiting a cemetery containing the remains of their relatives. A woman protester claims I-FOR soldiers threatened them with guns. SOUNDBITE: (Serbo-Croat) "AN IFOR soldier pointed a gun at me. An IFOR soldier did it. We were standing and he cocked his rifle at me and he wanted to shoot. There was another soldier as well.
