Memorial at the Frankfurt Grossmarkthalle and the History of Mass Deportations

For this year's "International Holocaust Remembrance Day" on January 27, we have produced a film about the memorial site at Frankfurt's Grossmarkthalle. It provides information about the deportations of the people from Frankfurt who got persecuted as Jews. 10,000 women, men and children were deported from the Grossmarkthalle to ghettos, concentration and extermination camps in 1941 and 1942 during ten mass deportations. Together with filmmaker Adrian Oeser, we made this informative and insightful film about the site, its history and the artistic concept of the memorial.
