Recipe for Mohanbhog / Prasad done by Mrs. Violet Kalliecharan Ingredients: 2 Cups All-purpose flour 3/4 Cup Ghee 2 Cups Carnation milk 2 Cups Water 1 1/4 Cup sugar 2 tsps Elaichi or cardamon powder 1/4 lb Raisins Slivered Almonds Ginger (optional) Cinnamon sticks (optional) Method Place water, milk and sugar into a sauce pan to boil at a low heat. Cinnamon sticks can be added as well In another pot, add ghee When the ghee is hot, add flour and keep turning at medium to low heat When the flour and ghee mixture starts to bubble, slowly add liquid mixture, a little at a time, turning constantly while adding. Add Elaichi, raisins, almonds & ginger Once all the liquid mixture has been poured in turn off the heat and mix for a few more minutes. All to cool before serving
