Yesterday, I visited my rescue dogs at the pet hotel once again. Many of the dogs have been living here for years, some are even 8 years old. All of them were rescued under the most difficult circumstances. Some came to us injured, emaciated, freezing, or driven away by people. These are the animals who never found a home, the ones who are simply ignored. It's such a shame for these poor souls. They are all beautiful, well-groomed, treated, vaccinated, and well-fed. And most importantly, they are socialized, completely understandable, and humanized. But they lack the most important thing—a human being and THEIR OWN home. Every visit is a small holiday for the dogs, a chance to socialize, scratch, and receive their share of attention. Unfortunately, the pet hotel is very far from me, about 2.5 hours each way, so I can't visit them often. This time we brought them some treats as a gift, which they were very happy about.
