Berlin School Experiment 2 (SU-10, Volca Keys & Bass, SQ-1)

This is my second Berlin School experiment: let's hope this one doesn't get copyright claims like the previous one. Actually, this is the first of a two-part jam I did a couple of days ago. I'm currently moving between houses, so I decided to make some videos in advance. For better enjoying this music, please listen in 720p, as YouTube compression also affects the sound quality. This is also the premiere of the Yamaha SU-10 I mentioned in my vlog (   • [VLOG1] - Shopping Spree  ). The samples on the SU-10 are taken from a public domain audiobook: The Art of War, by Sun Tzu, translated by Lionel Giles, and read by Paul Sze (https://archive.org/details/art_war_p.... The SQ-1 controls both Volcas via MIDI (via a spliter cable) using two different channels. The SU-10 is manually activated. As for the audio path: the Volca keys goes into the FX600 (Chorus) and then to a small passive mono mixer; the audio from the Volca Bass is split into two mono channels: one goes into the FM600 and the other goes directly into the mixer. The audio from the SU-10 goes through the FAB Overdrive to give it a little bit more weight and grit, and then into the mixer. The output from the mixer goes into the Nux Time Core on Tap Tempo mode, and finally into the RV600. The session was recorded and mastered in audacity (via a Focusrite 2i2) and the video was edited in Kdenlive.
