Flat Cars Being Moved Out Of Storage. Train Crossing Over Abandoned Road On N&W Railroad Bridge. Chasing Train To The Hill & Street Running Train Sample From My Newest LaGrange Video. Cincinnati Eastern Railroad & CSX Action. Ohio Farm Stuff Included Railroad cars being taken out of storage and being delivered to their owners. These cars were stored on the east end of the line near the quarry. After being tied onto the rear of the rock train we see the train go through the Ohio countryside. Listen to the SD40-2 locomotives take the train over the Williamsburg Hill. This group of flat cars might not be part of the ones that I filmed recently. I notice a difference in the placement of the hand brake wheels. The abandoned road in this video is Canyon Road which is just west of Sardinia, Ohio on the Norfolk Southern Peavine Line. This road was closed close to 30 years ago. I used to drive down this road as a short cut. Nature is taking over and the road is just a narrow trail now and it's difficult to film trains crossing over it due to all the vegetation. Watch the train get a good run at the hill in Williamsburg, Ohio. Those locomotives sounded awesome, especially when they were notching up. These locomotives replaced the 3 red and black locomotives. It was the second annual Rail Fest day in LaGrange and it coincided with National Train Day. I know most of my viewers haven't seen it yet so hopefully this sample will generate some interest in it.
