Abandoned Railroad Tracks In The Middle Of The Road. Train With DPU Crossing Over Tracks. Train Coming Straight At Camera As It Changes Tracks. Norfolk Southern & CSX Trains In Urban Areas. CSX Heritage Unit Passes Defect Detector With Radio Audio. Ohio Trains. Cool Railroad Crossings & A Look Inside Abandoned Mill Building. We start off with a Norfolk Southern train with a DPU shoving the rear. This train is on the CSX Main 1 and is diverging to Main 2 and then diverging onto the Norfolk Southern main line. The train is coming straight at the camera as it crosses from one track to the other. This is an awesome shot! Then we take a look at a long section of street running track in Hamilton, Ohio. This track goes right down the middle of the road over 2 blocks. The track hasn't been used in decades but it is still in place. I also show another abandoned track behind the old mill buildings. The electrical cabinet is still in place and a section of very light rail is there. Ties plates were left behind also. We see some maintenance of way equipment pass by the CSX and NS interchange. It took a couple more hours before the next train came. I changed location again and got a CSX mixed freight that had a random Heritage Unit. The train was passing the defect detector and we see my radio while listening to the detector audio. Thats always pretty cool. A couple more CSX trains pass through town and I attempt to show the inside of one of the huge abandoned mill buildings. The public sidewalk is right next to the building vehicle entrance. At one time this building had railroad sidings on both sides. I remember boxcars spotted on the east side of the building and covered hopper cars on the north side.
