SCRATCHES - A Gothic Horror Game Masterpiece
Join me as I explore the desolate house and ground of Blackwood Manor, a haunted house with a dark secret, in SCRATCHES. Scratches is an Argentinian horror game developed and released in 2006 by Nucleosys. This video is an unpacking of the game's story, atmosphere, gameplay, themes, and inspirations, which we go into great detail near the end. We talk about the history of Gothic fiction, Italian Giallo movies, and creepy Scottish folktales. And, of course, expose the ghastly secret at the heart of SCRATCHES! The music used throughout the video is from Cellar of Rats (Scratches OST) and Carlos Viola (The Last Door OST). The outro music is "Existence Without Purpose" by My Useless Life. Please check out all the composers and show them love! Support the channel on twitter!: / iamdasnuggler Feel free to suggest future video ideas in the comments!
