(LIVE) Recette blanquette de la mer pour Noël

Sauté shallots, garlic, carrots, leeks, fennel, and mushrooms in a mixture of butter and olive oil. After 10 minutes, place pieces of salmon, shrimp, haddock, or cod on top of this bed of vegetables. Cover with vegetable stock and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add 20 cl of single-serve cream, a tablespoon of grainy mustard, a pinch of curry powder, salt and pepper, and chopped herbs (dill or tarragon are my favorites with fish).
