Art Journaling & Mixed Media - Materialien Basics

Aloha! It's Andrea again from Atelier am Rain, and today I'm introducing you to a new video: Mixed Media Basics. This video is for anyone just getting started with mixed media art or art journaling. It can be quite overwhelming at first. The sheer variety of materials you can use is almost limitless. And how do you combine them so you can work with joy and without frustration? In this video, I'll introduce you to the basic materials, including: Art journals and painting surfaces, homemade or purchased Papers and textiles Glue of various types Gesso Paints Pens Tools Stamps and stencils Get an initial overview and then choose what you like best to paint with. Because art journaling is what you make of it! It all depends on your preferences and on using what you feel comfortable with.
