Today we pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy together on a Wednesday in Ordinary Time. Wednesday turns our hearts to conversion — to the Father who runs to meet the returning sinner. Bring to the Lord whatever you would rather hide. He is not waiting to condemn, but to forgive. He did not wait for a perfect apology; he ran. This is the God we pray to on this penitential Wednesday. Saint Faustina recorded the Lord's astonishing words: that He pours out a whole ocean of grace upon the soul that approaches the fountain of His mercy. Our part is simply to come, to stop hiding, to trust that we are wanted. Conversion is not earning God's love; it is finally believing we already have it. The Chaplet we have prayed is that very turning home. However far you feel today, the Father is already running toward you. 🙏 Day-Specific Prayer: Eternal Father, we come to You as we are, with our failures and our hope. Do not look upon our sins, but upon our trust in Your goodness. Where we have fallen, lift us; where we have hardened, soften us; where we have wandered, lead us home.
