🙏 Divine Mercy Chaplet — Wednesday, June 24, 2026 | Penitential Reflection on God's Mercy Welcome to this sacred time of prayer. Today we pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy together on a Wednesday in Ordinary Time, the Solemnity of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist. Wednesday turns our hearts to conversion — to the Father who runs to meet the returning sinner. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy we are about to pray is itself a turning home. Bring to the Lord whatever you would rather hide; He waits not to condemn, but to forgive. On this solemnity we hear that call as our own. To prepare the way is to let mercy level the proud places and lift up the lowly within us. John did not point to himself; he pointed to the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, the very mercy we have prayed today. Repentance is not despair; it is hope clearing a path for grace. Saint Faustina was told that the soul which trusts and turns to Him finds an ocean of mercy waiting. However far you feel today, the way home is shorter than you think. Make straight the path, and let the Lord who is coming find a welcome in your heart. 🙏 Day-Specific Prayer: Eternal Father, on this feast of Saint John the Baptist, we ask You to prepare a way for mercy within us. Level our pride, lift up our weariness, and make straight the crooked paths of our hearts. Do not look upon our sins, but upon our trust in Your goodness. Turn us back to You, and let us point others, as John did, to the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world. We turn home to You with confidence today. Amen. ❤️ Jesus, I trust in You.
