Tuesday calls us into inner quiet, to rest and reflect in His presence. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy we will pray is not a list of words to rush through, but a slow descent into the Heart of God. Stillness is not emptiness; it is the space where we finally notice the One who has been near all along. On this contemplative Tuesday we learn that mercy is often received in silence, not in striving. Saint Ephrem wrote that the Lord's mercy is a sea without a shore, and we cannot measure it with anxious thoughts; we can only rest in it. When you fall quiet before God, you are not wasting time, you are letting Him work. The Chaplet we have prayed has carved out this space within you. Stay here a little longer. Let mercy reach the places your words could never name. 🙏 Day-Specific Prayer: Lord Jesus, in the quiet of this moment we open our hearts to You. Calm the noise within us, and teach us to rest in Your presence without fear. Speak to us in the silence, where Your mercy is gentlest and most near. Let this stillness become trust, and this trust become peace that lasts beyond this hour. Keep us recollected in You through all the day's distractions. We rest in You, our refuge and our hope.
