Davao City is often considered one of the safest cities in the Philippines, so I wanted to see if it really lives up to its reputation. In this vlog, I explore the city, meet friendly locals, use different forms of local transport, and experience what everyday life is really like in one of the country's most unique cities. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Davao's vibrant night market. The atmosphere was incredible, with endless local street food to choose from, and after finishing your meal, you can even get a massage right there, which definitely isn't something you see every day! It was the perfect place to experience the local culture, chat with people, and try some amazing Filipino food. As I walked around Davao, it was easy to understand why so many people call it one of the safest cities in the Philippines. At no point did I feel worried or uncomfortable, even while exploring on foot. The city felt clean, organised, and welcoming, making it a great place to experience authentic Filipino life.
