Surviving the MOST Dangerous Train Ride on Earth | Iron Ore Mauritania

We did something most people would never even dream of. We rode on top of the Mauritanian Iron Ore Train, known as the most dangerous train on the planet. Stretching over two kilometres long, this massive beast hauls iron ore across the Sahara Desert from Zouérat to the Atlantic coast. Most travellers who attempt this go with guides or fixers, but not us. Waleed and I did it completely solo. No guide, no plan, just two guys chasing one of the world’s wildest adventures. For 15 hours, we clung to the top of the train, surrounded by iron dust, desert winds, and endless dunes. The sun scorched the desert all day, and every breath tasted like metal and sand. The landscape felt like another planet. There were no rules, no safety, no guarantees. The train doesn’t care if you make it or not. This journey tested everything: patience, endurance, and the will to keep going when every part of you wanted to stop. But it was worth it, because this is what real adventure feels like.
