Then chill for 8-hours or overnight covered in the refrigerator. Strawberry Glaze 1/2 c (200g) Strawberry puree 1/2 c (100g) sugar 1 T cornstarch 1/4 c water 1 ! butter 8 drops red food coloring 1. Heat ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat until it thickens and leaves a distinct trail behind your spatula. Then heat for 2 minutes longer. 2. Strain it through a fine-mesh sieve and add butter and food coloring. Allow to cool and it thickens up. Whipped Cream 1/2 c Heavy cream 1/4 c (50g) sugar 1. Whisk both together to stiff peaks. Assembly: 1. Pipe a pretty damn around the edge and add the glaze topping in the middle.
