“Chibolín” y los 100 mil dólares: revelan pagos de procesada por lavado de activos a Andrés Hurtado

Andrés Hurtado is once again at the center of controversy after being accused of receiving $100,000 to allegedly influence a court case. According to businessman Vicente Eduardo Díaz García, Elizabeth Palomino, who is being prosecuted for money laundering, gave the sum to Hurtado with the intention of currying favor with the Prosecutor's Office. The witness stated that the transaction was mentioned in a conversation during a dinner in San Borja on September 18, 2024. In a conversation with Panorama, Díaz García stated that journalist Oscar Eduardo Bravo and broadcaster Martín Delgado Salinas, both of whom allegedly have ties to Hurtado, were also present at the meeting. He also stated that days later, calls were made demanding the return of the money. "They did call to collect the money from Elizabeth," the witness stated, adding that he heard Bravo confirm that he had contacted Hurtado for that purpose. This new testimony reinforces the serious accusations against the television host, who is currently serving pretrial detention in the Lurigancho prison. Weeks ago, another businesswoman also accused Palomino of giving money to Hurtado. Furthermore, the witness's brother, Bruno Díaz, claimed that the payment appeared to be linked to a favor that "Chibolín" hadn't fulfilled, sparking persistent calls for the money.
