We Opened a New Window in Our Cottage | Irish Cottage Renovation

Subscribe to follow our Irish cottage renovation journey 🏡 This week we made a huge change to our 200 year old derelict cottage by opening up a brand new window in what will one day become our bedroom 🪟 Now that we’ve stabilised some of the worst parts of the building, we finally felt confident enough to carefully open up the stone wall and create a beautiful view out across our land and the surrounding Irish countryside 🌿 🐑 Following the natural lines in the original stonework, we think there may even have once been an opening here many years ago. Alongside the cottage renovation, we also made more progress with our off-grid solar setup by adding a new component to our power system ☀️ ⚡ Join us as we build our dream of a simpler and more self-sufficient life in rural Ireland.
