Welcome to Jontheway - The ultimate adventure begins! This is the highly anticipated first video of my massive Northeast Thailand Road Trip Series. My plan is no plan, to head up to the very North East of Thailand and from there, wherever I feel like going next! I’m putting my new moterbike to the test, riding the long distance from my home on Koh Chang into the heart of Isaan, with this video stage journey finishing in the province of Buriram. After that I head up to Ubon Ratchathini and Mukdahan. This video covers the full first leg: the unplanned drives, finding roadside guesthouses, and the dramatic cultural shift from the coast to the vast, rural landscape of Northeast Thailand. Along the way, I stop to explore all that Issarn has to offer and experience the local way of life and authentic Thai charm.
