The road trip begins in Mukdahan as I continue riding north along the majestic Mekong River to the beautiful city of Nakhon Phanom. I take in the sights, the unique Temples, and the peaceful river atmosphere that defines this border region. However, the final destination of this leg is Sakon Nakhon, and it's not just a waypoint. I'm riding there for a very personal reason: it's where my ex-wife's home town, and I haven't seen her in two years since our break-up.
