Phetchabun to Nan: Visiting the Most Beautiful Temple in Thailand! (Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew)

The journey north continues! Episode 2 of my Koh Chang to Chiang Rai series, the landscapes start to get seriously impressive as I head into the heart of Northern Thailand. I leave the outskirts of Phetchabun and climb into the clouds of Khao Kho to visit the breathtaking Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew. After soaking in the views, I push through Uttaradit before finally arriving in the beautiful province of Nan. This is where the pace of the trip changes. I spend a few days slowing down, exploring the local culture, and enjoying the famous Nan Night Market. I also take the ADV 160 out for a stunning loop through the foothills to the west of Nan city, uncovering some of the most peaceful roads I've found so far.
