My drone went swimming. Then so did I 💦 🙈. 🎥 DJI Mini 5 Pro... didn't survive

A few weeks ago, I visited Gongen Falls for the first time. I didn’t know the area well, so I carefully scouted around with my DJI Mini 5 Pro, relying on those sensitive obstacle sensors to help me navigate the terrain. Everything was going ok until I somehow clipped something just as I was about to return from above the waterfall. The drone tumbled into the pool below. Naturally, I went after it. Unfortunately, I also managed to fall into the water with all my gear. The drone was done. My RC 2 was done. And my ego took a hit as well. At the time, I felt pretty stupid. A few choice words escaped my mouth. But the moment I climbed back out of the water, completely soaked from head to toe, I couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of it all.
