I flew long enough to see it all change in Japan's largest freshwater lake 🌦️ 🇯🇵

My wife and I visited Lake Biwa last weekend. As usual, I packed my drones and hoped to get some flying done. Unfortunately, it rained throughout most of Saturday, so the drone stayed grounded. Thankfully, the rain stopped on Sunday morning. When I arrived at the lakeshore, the weather was still dark and gloomy. The clouds dominated the landscape, but I decided to fly anyway and capture Lake Biwa from different perspectives. As the morning progressed, the clouds slowly began to break apart and sunlight started shining through. What had looked like a grey and ordinary morning transformed into a spectacular display of moving clouds, light, and color. We stayed long enough to see it all change.
