Advance Drum Technique Control Used In This Drum Solo

I`m always working on my drum technique to make my drum solo interesting to listen to. This time I just started on the hi-hat, while my right hand plays around the drums. I`m using some advance drum technique like to do fast singles on the ride cymbal to match my bass drum speed and then choking the cymbal sound with my stick. Just something I thought of doing that worked. I`m playing on my Big Band Slingerland drum set with the big 24 inch bass drum, 9x13 tom, two 16x16 floor toms, and the rare 1970 4x14 Buddy Rich model snare drum.
