THE FATHER'S INHERITANCE || Message for the Week with Pastor Barima

📖 Genesis 9:20–25; Judges 2:6–10; 2 Timothy 3:10–11 A father is more than someone who gives life. A father provides identity, accepts responsibility, and builds relationships that shape future generations. Throughout Scripture, God shows that His work is carried forward through faithful fathers passing on a godly inheritance. The Bible reveals a three-generation principle: Abraham to Isaac to Jacob, Moses to Joshua to the elders, David to Solomon to Rehoboam, and Lois to Eunice to Timothy. God's desire is that every generation faithfully passes on what it has received to the next. A father's inheritance includes both intangible and tangible blessings. Intangible inheritance includes faith, godly character, personal testimony, and spiritual impartation. Tangible inheritance includes possessions, businesses, experience, relationships, and other resources that prepare the next generation for success. Scripture also warns of the danger of failing to pass on an inheritance. After Joshua's generation, another generation arose that did not know the Lord because the faith was not faithfully passed on. Noah's mistake also reminds us that poor decisions can negatively affect future generations. God calls every believer to leave an inheritance that goes beyond wealth. Pass on your faith, your character, your testimony, and your relationship with God so that future generations will know Him and continue His work. #father #fathersday #sermons #christianity
