Gluten Free Cake Doughnuts

2 cups Frankie’s All Purpose Flour ¾ cup white sugar 2 tsp. baking powder ¼ tsp. ground nutmeg 1 tsp. salt ¾ cup buttermilk 2 eggs, lightly beaten 2 tbsp. melted butter In a large mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add buttermilk, eggs and butter. Beat well. Fill each doughnut cavity approximately 2/3 full. Bake in a 425F preheated oven for 7-9 minutes, or until golden brown. When baked let rest for 4-5 minutes and then remove from pan. Cinnamon sugar: 1 tbsp ground cinnamon 4 tbsp granulated sugar 2-3 tbsp melted buttermilk Combine cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. Dip each doughnut into melted butter and then dip into cinnamon sugar mixture. Let rest on plate. Recipe supplied from Wilton.
