Gala Pie, Sausage Rolls & Cobblers | Tom Kerridge: Secrets of the Pub Kitchen S2
The new series continues with Tom and his Michelin-starred team of chefs putting Gala Pie on the menu. Individual pies are lovingly built with an ingenious pastry chimney for letting out steam while cooking. When served, they sit in a pool of curry sauce inspired by the chip shop near where Tom grew up. It’s a trip down memory lane in the test kitchen too where Tom shows us how to make beautiful cheese and onion sausage rolls, a time-saving coq au vin, and a mixed berry cobbler which is better than crumble.
