This time, it's day two on Amami Oshima. We rented a car and drove around the island. We rented a car from Amami Rent-a-Car Naze branch and set off. It was reasonably priced at 3,000 yen per day. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain that day. Since we hadn't decided on a destination, we started by having breakfast at WA・CAFE while planning our route. Afterward, starting from Ohama Beach Park, we circled the western side of Amami Oshima, visiting Miyakozaki, Materiya Falls, Kochiyama Observatory, Honohoshi Coast, Amami Oshima Sumiyo Roadside Station, Amami Oshima World Heritage Center, and Funangyo Falls. Due to time constraints, we couldn't visit the eastern area, where Heart Rock is located. We'd like to visit again sometime and take our time exploring. Day 2 in Amami Oshima is all about a road trip around the island's west side. After renting a car from Amami Rent-A-Car Naze, heavy rain changed the original plan. The day started with breakfast at WA・CAFE while deciding where to go. The drive included Ohama Seaside Park, Miyakozaki, Materiya Falls, Kochiyama Observatory, Honohoshi Coast, Sumiyo Roadside Station, the Amami Oshima World Heritage Center, and Funangyo Falls.
