This time, having finished a road trip to Hokkaido, we're starting a short journey through Tohoku. We're heading to Hakodate by bus from Sapporo. First thing in the morning, we bought a rare souvenir called "Nama Toba" (raw dried squid). Afterward, we headed to the ferry terminal in the rain and bought tickets for Aomori. It's been a while since I've traveled by ferry. I crossed the Tsugaru Strait for the first time by ferry to reach Honshu. After arriving in Aomori, I traveled to Hirosaki by train. I arrived at the Hirosaki Grand Hotel late at night, and that concluded the day. After finishing the Hokkaido road trip, the journey continues south into Tohoku. Taking a bus from Sapporo to Hakodate, picking up a local snack called "Nama Toba," then heading to the ferry terminal in the rain. Crossing the Tsugaru Strait by ferry for the first time in a while, and arriving in Aomori before taking a train to Hirosaki.
