Weaving a Page in your Journal

Last week we made a fun junky art journal using a magazine and filling the pages with collage. This week I decided to start using the journal and ended up creating a bright and abstract layout with neon acrylic inks, stencilling and paper weaving. The black and white elements pop agains the bright colours and I love how playful the finished result looks! I hope that you enjoy these simple techniques and try adding weaving in to your journal as a way of creating unexpected texture and visual interest on your pages.
