Textured Collage Panels with Wax and Texture Paste

Today we are going all in for layers and texture making a range of collage panels incorporating fabrics and papers which are combined with a home made texture paste and some encaustic wax for a rustic finish. These panels are a great way to build a layered design that works beautifully as an embellishment or even a full journal page. I am giving encaustic wax a try for the first time and love the misty, vintage atmosphere it brings to the finish. However, we also try embossing powders too for alternative ways to build on top of the collage. I was really inspired by these makes and hope you will be too!
