At the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, the gorillas voluntarily participate in medical training that helps their keepers monitor heart rate, draw blood, and assess overall health. But when young Kunda decides she wants the treats meant for her mom, everything changes—fast. In a split second, Mokolo, the 400-pound silverback, charges into action.
