Today (25th April 2026) was the 18th inflation day at Pidley Golf Course! Over 70 balloons were expected to be stood up in absolute flawless weather conditions! Many porous balloons that would struggle in the slightest breeze were just able enough to stand up and breathe the free air again! Unfortunately for me my visit had to be cut short because of Bramble chewing through his lead and without that I wasn’t prepared to risk him running around the cars, ropes and balloons. So instead I returned home and went out with family for my slightly spoiled special day 😅 I do have one birthday wish though, let’s bottle up this perfect weather and keep it for Midland Air Festival next month!!
