Rabbits Ballooning Team Ballonvaart Funny Bunny Balloonfair Staphorst (NL)-Hasselt(NL)(10 Juni 2026)

Over the past two days, we attended the 7th edition of Balloonfair Staphorst in the Netherlands. In the early evening, the balloon teams gathered at the festival grounds, where a pilot briefing was held around 7 p.m. The weather was discussed in detail, and the gusty wind was expected to subside slightly, allowing the balloon flight to proceed. The balloons selected their launch sites and were prepared for departure. After a short wait, we received the green light, and thanks to the good cooperation with the other balloon teams, all the hot air balloons were able to take to the air one by one. Our flight ended in Hasselt, on the border with Zwolle, where it was a spirited landing at a speed of 20 km/h. Once back at the balloon fair, we were able to enjoy a beautiful nightglow.
