Sprockets - with broken teeth! Replace or repair? Part 3 - Machining & welding a stock S/S part.

Easier (& cheaper) to modify a standard/stock part to match the original damaged sprocket, rather than making one from scratch, even if this one needed a bit of welding as well as machining to get the shape right. Being made of Stainless Steel made the work a bit harder. Turning it was not too bad but tapping the two fixing holes was a pain! Machines & equipment used:- Colchester Triumph 2000 & Smart & Brown Model "A" lathes, Beaver VBRP turret milling machine with Marlco indexing unit.
