Diesel Bug and Sunken Sailboats, Our First Week in the Abacos, Bahamas

It's our first week in the Abacos, Bahamas aboard our 2 sailboats. We've been working on boat projects while anchored in Marsh Harbour. In our last video, Asheton discovered that his fuel was contaminated after loosing engine power. The source of the issue ended up being Diesel Bug, a type of microbe that grows in diesel fuel and fowls up filters and fuel lines, and can eventually end up causing catastrophic engine damage. Asheton drained and filtered the remaining fuel out of the tank and cleaned out all of the diesel bug which had settled on the bottom. Next we install a new Garmin Chart Plotter on the Panga with Ultra High Definition SideScan Sonar. We finally get to have some fun, as we embark on a strike mission to some dive spots outside the Harbour. First up a sunken sailboat, where we are greeted by a green sea turtle. Next up a sunken barge. Our last spot is a secluded bay with a sandy beach where we find a beached boat. Our adventure ends after Asheton tests out a planing board with his snorkel gear behind the boat. Back in the harbour, we help out a fellow sailor install a new furler drum on their headsail.
