The Artful Dodger Project | a B z T r A k t + reality

Here it is, both tracks combined : aBzTrAkT and reality. After some suggestions from my viewers and plunderphonic friends, I'd thought I'd combine both parts together to create a seamless transition to create a full 10 minute mix. The hard whiplash in the middle I feel creates a tense moment after the somewhat bittersweet last moment of a B z T r A k T as it catapults you into the tortured mind of Jax as we enter his backstory. This was inspired by The Beatles with their use of the orchestral riser in their famous song 'A Day In The Life', which merges two songs together to create a bigger work. I feel while there is a cut in-between the tracks, the harmony of 'abztrakt' hinting at a Bb chord at the end lines up with the start of 'reality' with the opening tonality of Bb as well; also linking the two. I'm so glad you guys have enjoyed my take on this series as I think it's paved a way for indie creators in the film industry and animation industry. Here's hoping more indie creators get inspired to create more amazing 'digital' things in the future!
