Woodturning The “Root” Of All Beauty!

Woodturning this large root ball was definitely my biggest challenge and piece to date. Over 80 hours were spent at the lathe alone to make it. About halfway through, I started to get nervous that I had bitten off more than I could chew this time. The amount of time and effort that went into this piece was easily triple anything I've made before. Luckily, my initial vision for this piece "turned" out perfectly in the end.
