Woodturning: The Copper Root

In this video, I take a gnarly otherworldly manzanita burl and attempt something that has probably been done before. In the testing stages, which I showed over on Patreon, I first attempted this effect using bronze activating paint, which was apparently made for achieving a similar patina effect. Well, I was not able to get satisfactory results using it, in fact the results I did get were hilariously underwhelming. I'm not in the habit of tooting my own horn, but I'd like to give myself the highest achievement award for resisting the urge to put dyes and pigments into the resin. I didn't even tint it black! 🤯 Let me know what you think of this piece.
