私のBOROシーツ始動 │ ツギを重ねて育てる、憧れの“BORO”の世界
I found another hole in a different place on a sheet I had previously patched. As I did last time, I applied a patch and stitched it up with a sewing machine to repair it. As I was working, I was reminded of "BORO." Originally, rag-like kimonos full of patches were created out of necessity. However, their practicality and functional beauty have now attracted attention as a source of inspiration from slow stitching enthusiasts overseas. My sheet is still in the "early stages," having only been repaired twice. But I hope that through this cycle of finding holes and patching them, my own version of BORO will grow. I have some admiration for it, but also a bit of "stubbornness" after coming this far. It was a day when I experienced yet another joy in nurturing something over the course of a long period of use. ―――――――――――――――――――― 💚 s u p p o r t m e Newsletter: https://slow.sachi.co/categories/6112225 Download our newsletter as a thank you for your support. 🧺 i t e m s Favorite Items List: https://sachi.co/category/favorites/ 🌱 f o l l o w m e Instagram: / sachicomy stand.fm: https://stand.fm/channels/5fae0baec64...
