The Cost and Blessing of Christian Sympathy

Christian sympathy is not just a feeling—it is compassion that moves into costly, tangible action. In Hebrews 10 and 13, Christians are called to remember suffering believers as if they were suffering with them, because the church is one body in Christ. This sermon asks whether our love for one another shows up in real presence, practical care, and long-term burden-bearing. Because we have received an unshakable kingdom through Jesus Christ, our whole lives become worship—and one of the first expressions of that worship is brotherly love. Christian sympathy may cost time, money, tears, and risk, but God blesses His people as they serve Jesus by serving His suffering saints.
