My dear audience, I present to you the film series "weekend Trip", telling about Pleshcheyevo, Blue Stone and Alexandrova mountain (a fragment of the film about Pereslavl-Zalessky). * * Plescheevo lake is a freshwater lake in the South-West of the Yaroslavl region of Russia. Is part of the national Park "Plescheevo lake." The lake area of about 51 km2, maximum length of 9.5 km (from the mouth of the Trubezh river to the outlet of the lake the river Vexy), maximum width of 6.5 km (through village Solanidine — the village of Gorodishche). The lake has a rounded shape, shore, smooth, low-lying, swampy. Maximum depth 25 m, average is 11 m. At the end of the XVII century on lake Pleshcheyevo was built the "toy" training fleet of Peter I. Pleshcheyevo lake is a popular destination for kitesurfing and Windsurfing (during summer) and Snowkiting (in winter). BLUE STONE (Blue stone) — sacred stone near of lake Pleshcheyevo, Pereslavl, a mountain Alexandrova and ancient city of Klein. This is one of the few true ritual objects preserved from the times of pagan Russia. Located in the national Park "Plescheevo lake." The name of the stone is associated with the fact that after the rain the color of the stone changes from gray to blue (this color takes it a wet surface). The stone consists of fine-grained quartz biotite schist. The blue colour arises from the refraction and reflection of light by the surface of the flakes of biotite and grains of quartz. Alexandrov mountain (Yarilin mountain) — a hill on the banks of lake Pleshcheyevo near the settlement of Kleschina and the city of Pereslavl-Zalessky. The height of the peak above sea level, about 170 m. It is also believed that this artificial hill built the great Prince Alexander Nevsky on the place where he spent his childhood. In the XIII century on a hill by Prince Alexander Nevsky was founded Alexandrov monastery, which, according to legend, was the country residence of the Prince. The monastery ceased to exist in the XVIII century.
