Wezesha Elimu Project in partnership with Safaricom Foundation, CBM Kenya and AIC Cure Kijabe
In partnership with the Safaricom Foundation, CBM implemented its "Wezesha Elimu" Project to secure education for children with Physical Disabilities in Kenya. The project saw 200 children with disabilities access primary school education after undergoing corrective surgeries at CURE Hospital in Kijabe. The project also carried out a series of mobile clinics across the country, identifying, treating and referring children for surgery. Joseph, a beneficiary of the project, had challenges attending school. He is seen here going through the various stages of the project until he is able to go to school again.
