This is day 9 of the Hokkaido road trip. After renting a new car in Sapporo, we set off again towards eastern Hokkaido. First, we collected a Poke Manhole Cover in Tobetsu City. Then, we headed to Tsubetsu, Bihoro, and Ozora towns, which we had missed on day 5. On the way, we made a brief stop at the Fairy Tale Hill, which we had skipped last time. After collecting another Poke Manhole Cover in Abashiri City, we headed towards Shiretoko. We checked into HOTEL BOTH in Shari Town and then headed straight to Utoro. We visited Oshinkoshin Falls and collected Poke Manhole Covers around the Utoro roadside station. Finally, we took a short stroll around Utoro at night before returning to our accommodation, ending the day. Day 9 begins with picking up a new rental car in Sapporo and heading back toward eastern Hokkaido. Starting with Tobetsu, then revisiting missed Pokémon manholes in Tsubetsu, Bihoro, and Ozora that were accidentally skipped earlier in the trip. A quick stop at Meruhen Hill before entering Abashiri city for another Pokémon manhole. After checking into HOTEL BOTH, the trip continues to Utoro.
