Bodmin, Cornwall | Falling Down the Rabbit Hole
Bodmin Town, 15k population, a former mining town with it's origins steeped in Saints and Pilgrimages, is now like many other Cornish towns, in a state of decline. Turkish barbers, white flight, and concerns of a growing fentanyl problem dot the new landscape, but a ray of light shining through was The Mad Hatter's Tea Rooms, a genuinely wonderful coffee shop and tourist attraction, that comes highly highly recommended.
